She’s trying real hard. Her favorite place to practice this crawl is in her crib, using the baseboard as a launching pad. It is especially fun at 3am when she decides she must do it and then proceeds to howl when she doesn’t go anywhere. Mommy is REALLY hoping she gets the hang of it soon. I know what you all think, “careful what you wish for, because once they start crawling…” Well I disagree. Any of you people have twins, who are both over 19lbs and won’t move to get a toy they want or just whine and groan because they are frustrated they don’t have any autonomy? Nope? Well I am here to tell you, twins get better as they get older. We need to take this circus on the road and that means crawling and walking. I love these little babies but they have to get a move on!

TEN MONTHS OLD!

This week was Charlotte and Will’s ten month birthday. They’ve become aware of the stickers and want to take them off and eat them, making it hard to get a photo. These are the best we could do. Look for the video to follow.

NINE MONTHS OLD!!!

Check out these big babies! We all went to the arboretum for this shoot. Finally they are not in their pajamas. There have been lots of milestones: Will is clapping, Charlotte and Will are feeding themselves finger foods, Charlotte looks like she might take the lead in the crawling race as she has been launching herself onto her belly from sitting but that contest is still anyones game, and Will is making sounds that could be considered words if you REALLY listen closely. Stay tuned…

Sand in Texas?

Oh yes, it’s the kind that comes in a box though. I am from the beach so I had to get these babies a sandbox so they could experience the stuff before they turn a year old! After an exhaustive internet search, I found non-toxic “play sand”…don’t ask how much a box of the stuff costs. All the Grandparents will think I am ridiculous. Anyway, as you can see…W & C loved it!

W & C turned 8 months over the weekend! They had a blast on the photo shoot!

A beautiful day at the Dallas Arboretum

One of the prettiest spots in Dallas, that day was especially exceptional because of the annual tulip festival. The babies had lots of pretty colors to look at but the frog fountains were their favorite. They are not yet big enough to play in them but soon enough we will have to bring towels and a change of clothes when we visit here. Stay tuned!

First trip to the Zoo!

We took the babies to the zoo, it was technically Will’s 2nd trip but he was only 3 months old the last time and surely didn’t remember. It looks like he can’t see over that pack but he had a blast feeding the giraffes. And for Charlotte there is no better place than in Daddy’s arms.
